Q
Isn't this chip just a PIC on a fancy looking pcb?

Q
Do you believe YOWIES exist??
A
No. They were all eaten by DropBears.

Q
Do i need to flash the Yowii modchip?
A
No. Your Yowii will come with Yaosm already on it. If you like, you can just install the Yowii and you're done, but coding for the Wii is a great way to get started with pic programming and programming in general.

Q

A
Yes, just fill out the form on the resellers page and we'll send you more information.

Q
Help, i think i got a clone. What do i do?
A
Let us know through the contact form or the forums. If it works like an original and is good quality, its not a big deal. If it is low quality or you just want an original, demand a refund.

Q
Can you add genuine Yowii hologram stickers to your chips?
A
No. It's not really a smart idea. We may ask the clone manufacturers to add a genuine clone sticker though. ; )

Q
I really want a Yowii modchip, but i'm too poor to buy one. Can you give me one for free?
A
YES. Each month we will be giving away chips to people who make worthwhile contributions on our forums. So jump on our forums and help the community, solve a problem, write a tutorial, suggest a cool feature.

Q
When did the Yowii Project first begin?
A
The idea of creating an open source chip with the Yowii's cool features, was first conceived in November 06. After completing other projects, work began on the actual Yowii chip in April 07.
